Summer Camp
Greensboro, NC - A Month of Creative Experience Awaits
This summer, join us at TAB Arts Center for our "All Arts Summer Camp," where young creatives aged 8-16 are invited to embark on a month-long journey delving into the captivating realms of film and theatre. Celebrating our 9th year, our camp, located at the Shiloh Baptist Church Community Center in Greensboro, NC, distinguishes itself by providing one of the longest continuous arts education experiences. This summer participants will immerse themselves in an extensive exploration of the performing arts.
Young actors focus on acting techniques, stage presence, voice modulation, and character development
as they bring stories to life on stage. Through guided instruction, they build confidence and storytelling abilities essential for live performances.
Aspiring filmmakers explore both acting and production, gaining hands-on experience in scriptwriting, directing, and camera work. They take part in the creative process, producing their own short films while refining their on-screen performance skills.
Both groups engage in set design, costume creation, and prop-making, gaining a deeper appreciation for the behind-the-scenes artistry that enhances their performances. This hands-on experience allows campers to contribute to the visual storytelling process.
Campers work together to develop their productions from start to finish, fostering teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills while bringing their artistic visions to life in a supportive and engaging environment.
Founded in 2016 by Sunny Gravely-Foushee and her visionary co-founders, Darlene McClinton and Watricia Shuler, TAB Arts Center has established itself as a cornerstone of Greensboro, NC, embodying the transformative power of art. Our mission is at the heart of everything we do: to make the arts accessible to all, serving as a catalyst for creativity, empowerment, and community building. Through our diverse and inclusive programs, we strive to inspire individuals of every age and background, fostering a rich tapestry of cultural expression and understanding.

A Call to Support:
As we continue to break down barriers and open doors to artistic exploration, we invite you to join us in our mission. Supporting TAB Arts Center means enabling a child to discover their voice, a teen to direct their first film, or an adult to rekindle their love for art. If you share our belief in the power of art to transform lives, consider sponsoring a child’s journey through art.
